'Awareness is a form of experience which can be loosely defined as being in touch with one's own existence, with what is.....the person who is aware knows what he does, how he does it, that he has alternatives and that he chooses to be as he is.' Yontef, 1993.

It is true that a person's mind was meant to be a palace of mirrors and it is also not necessary to build up ego thoughts.

The intuitive faculty is built up by slow, gentle rhythmical breathing. There is no insight when the breath operates rapidly, except, perhaps, some instinctive movement. For no-one can entirely destroy his instincts , without suffering terribly, both mentally and physically'.
